Trash bug
Ceraeochrysa sp.

Description

Trash bug is the common name of green lacewing larvae of the genus Ceraeochrysa.  The body of the larvae is more compact than that of Chrysoperla spp. and covered with hooked bristles.  In order to camoflage itself, the larva impales on these bristles all manner of shed insect skins and the cuticles of its victims, giving it the appearance of a small ball of lint.
