Description
Plants in some areas of the field may be slow or fail to green up. Look at soil conditions and location in the field. Loose, dry soil can be an indication plants died of winterkill. Winterkill symptoms generally will be seen on terrace tops and north-facing slopes. Look closely at the crowns for discoloration and water-soaking.
