Yellowed, wilted plants; discolored, water-soaked areas

Description

Yellowed, wilted plants in poorly drained or compacted areas of affected fields are sometimes observed. Typically, the stem tissue near ground level possesses discolored, water-soaked areas. Collectively, these symptoms indicated that seedling blight injury has occurred.
