Thifensulfuron + Chlorimuron 0.0016 to 0.0049 + 0.005 to 0.015
Product quantity per acre
0.375 to 1.125 oz Synchrony XP
Comments and limitations

Use only the 0.375 oz rate on non-STS soybean. Rates above 0.375 should be used only on STS soybean. Controls several broadleaf weeds. Apply to small, actively growing weeds before they reach size limits listed on the label. Apply with COC plus nitrogen fertilizer solution. Some pigweed species, such as waterhemp and Palmer amaranth, have developed resistance to Synchrony and other herbicides with the same mode of action. Management strategies such as alternative control methods, crop rotation, and using herbicides with a different mode of action to replace or supplement Synchrony in a tank mix need to be considered in areas that may have resistant weed biotypes. Do not plant wheat for 3 months; corn, sorghum, or cotton for 9 months; alfalfa for 12 months; or sunflower or canola for 18 months after treatment.

The Pesticide Selector includes suggestions for chemical control of pests in Kansas crops, which are provided by K-State Research and Extension, and may not be relevant for states other than Kansas. We will continue to expand this tool for help in selecting other types of agricultural chemicals, and for other states. Contact the myFields Team if you are interested in contributing content!
