Chemical selector

Crop type: Corn
Application type: Preplant or Preemergence

Pounds of active ingredient per acre
Rimsulfuron + Thifensulfuron 0.0156 to 0.0281 + 0.0156 to 0.0281
Product quantity per acre
1.0 to 1.8 oz Crusher
Comments and limitations

Crusher may be applied following fall harvest in the previous year through winer and early spring but prior to corn emergence for preplant and preemergemence weed control in field corn. Do not apply to frozen soil during the winter or early spring or postemergence to corn. If control of emergent weeds is anticipated with Crusher, add COC or MSO at 1% v/v. If tank mixed with a fully loaded glyphosate or Liberty 280 SL 280 at recommended use rates, no additioanl adjuvants are required. Corn hybrids may vary in their sensitivity to Crusher; as a result, FMC is not responsible for crop injury observed from a Crusher application.

The Pesticide Selector includes suggestions for chemical control of pests in Kansas crops, which are provided by K-State Research and Extension, and may not be relevant for states other than Kansas. We will continue to expand this tool for help in selecting other types of agricultural chemicals, and for other states. Contact the myFields Team if you are interested in contributing content!
