Army Cutworm (Kansas Canola)

Scouting time

Winter canola is palatable to army cutworm, and plants are susceptible to damage as they break dormancy. Treatment is recommended whenever larval densities reach four to five per square foot.

Visually observe the number of larvae per square foot of canola.
